Exports
Hyderabad to thirty countries
Twenty-five years of shipping stone means the documentation, the packing and the freight routines are settled. Most of what goes wrong in this trade goes wrong on paper, not at sea.
The principle
A container held at the destination costs more than the freight ever did.
Demurrage, storage and a delayed programme are what a wrong description on an invoice actually costs. So the paperwork is prepared against the confirmed order line for line, and the origin certificate goes out with the rest rather than following a week later.
If your importer needs a document we have not listed, or your market has a requirement we have not met before, raise it at the enquiry stage. It is far cheaper to prepare for it than to fix it once the vessel has sailed.
