About Hassan Green
Hassan Green is an Indian granite: an igneous stone formed under heat and pressure, which is what gives it its hardness and its very low rate of water absorption. A green ground is unusual enough to be memorable, and it works particularly well against pale walls and natural timber.
The practical case for Hassan Green is durability. It resists abrasion in high-traffic flooring, it does not etch when something acidic is spilled on it, and a flamed finish gives it the slip resistance an external stair or a wet area needs.
Hassan Green is available as gangsaw slabs, cutter slabs, tiles and countertops. Standard thicknesses are 15 mm, 16 mm, 18 mm, 20 mm and 30 mm, and other dimensions are cut to drawing. Every order is shade-graded before crating, which is what stops a delivery arriving as a patchwork.
