About Kuppam Green
Quarried in India, Kuppam Green is a granite in the proper sense: an igneous rock with interlocking crystals, high compressive strength and almost no porosity. A green ground is unusual enough to be memorable, and it works particularly well against pale walls and natural timber.
The practical case for Kuppam Green is durability. It resists abrasion in high-traffic flooring, it does not etch when something acidic is spilled on it, and a flamed finish gives it the slip resistance an external stair or a wet area needs.
